Last winter, Gary Clegg, Slanket creator, returned to Maine to visit his parents. My daughter sent me a Slanket because I always complain about being cold. Well howdy, no more.....the only problem is everyone tries to take mine home with them......I also wake up with a Doberman and a Yellow Lab snuggled in with me. Also, a huge cat up the sleeve, is there a kitty slanket? I do like the idea of pockets though......always have my crossword puzzle with me....thanks, I'm toasty warm.

My New Best Friend
The Slanket is my new best friend because all of my old friends may dump me if I don't stop raving about it. They assume I won't want to go out with them because I'd rather be wrapped up in it. (They assume right.) It arrived in the mail to save me as if on cue -- my knight in fleecy armour -- the day before temperatures in Boston plunged to below freezing. I brought it straight to the couch and it was love.
Thanks to my Slanket, I just might survive another Boston winter -- in fact, I daresay I'll even enjoy some of it! I LOVE YOU, SLANKET!
